Would someone tell me how to leave the lower backing running without the style playing? You can see the example at the very beginning of this video. Please help!

You need MEMORY turned on and SYNCRO START/STOP off then if the instrument in the lower is continuous sounding like an organ or strings you can press a note and it will continue to play.Karimh wrote:http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7mScEfr9rw8

The MEMORY button is near the BALANCE knob.
In the video you can see he has ACCOMP and MEMORY turned on ... 2 red LEDs next to BALANCE knob.

If you want the lower to play continuously, you need to go to GLOBAL, then MENU, then Mode Preferences (style), then Memory Mode, then choose, Chord +Lower. If you don’t want the bass, then un-check, Bass & Lower Backing (directly below Memory Mode). Another way to lose the accompaniment is to turn the Balance knob fully clockwise.
