Marcan, with this set of mods you're working on, would it be possible somehow to hook up an external (touchscreen) display ? 8) It's not so much about what's possible but about what's reasonable/sensible/worth it. I'm not particularly planning on any specific set of mods/features; first I want to ...

If they get this thing to dual boot to windows - I'd do this and use the Kronos as my Windows development environment! hahaha, that would be incredibly awesome! Of course it can dual boot Windows (or Linux), both on the original and the modified hardware. It's just a PC. That much is trivial ...

I'm the guy who wrote the blog post (though kronos hacker was first - and seriously, forum admins, get rid of that word replacement, it's insulting and childish; if you have an issue with what we're doing, let's talk). There's nothing wrong with what we're doing. Modification of musical instruments ...

Balanced audio carries both a positive and a negative signal, which are subtracted at the destination. If you use an unbalanced (TS) cable to connect two pieces of balanced gear, you're throwing away (actually shorting out, but that's fine by design) half of the signal, and so your level will be 6dB ...
