do you also use stereo cables in the Audio out ports? I know it doesn't make sense but it did solve my sync problems

Make sure you use only STEREO mini jacks. In my experience, most issues are caused by using mono jacks in the Sync and/or Audio out ports.

Another thing: if you've lost your patches, the onboard battery is probably dead or about to expire. You need to replace it or it could start to leak and damage your synth.

The MKII has Midi Sysex support so you could use that route but this requires a Midi interface and cable. Another way is via the cassete interface. Google and download the factory patches in audio tape format, hook up the Poly-800 cassette IN port to the output pf your PC soundcard and follow the ...

There is a workaround using Midi. Sync all your Volca's to each other and use Midi Clock for the first one in line. Press [PLAY] on your Volca's in reverse order (last one first). They will not start yet. Now start Volca #1 (the sync master) using Midi Start/Stop command and they should all start ...

also bear in mind that there are current limits on the USB system as a whole and per USB port. USB 3.0 ports come in low-power and high-power variants, providing 150 mA and 900 mA respectively.

Any PD-10 drum synth owners here?

I have a Korg PD-10 drum synth in my collection but have never been able to find any information on the interwebs. I did discover that Yamaha sold exactly the same drum pad under a different name. Based on the design and the fat analog sounds it produces I suspect this thing dates from the early ...

Use an audio splitter and update them at the same time or let the Volca's take turns.

table-top Volca rack

Just finished building my Völcaräk wooden table-top rack for my beloved Volca's. Made out of some cheap IKEA parts and a strip of pinewood. Note how i created some extra space for the Volca Mixer and Volca FX :) http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb412/Mark_Two/Music%20Gear/volcarak3_zpsyhleljxe.j ...
