Snaps back to 'On' as soon as you hit 8 (or shift) again.. Does it change before that, when you turn the knob? Yes, turning the knob shows on and off in the display (showing on as "original value"), but pressing 8 (or shift) does not affect the setting, write protection stays as original value..

Mic in only on microKorg? (B88 on XL+)

I feel semi-retarded not finding this on the microKorg =/ The microKorg XL+ got a patch (B88) for audio in only from the microphone and I was pretty sure the original microKorg had something similar. I'm trying to use the tag-a-long-microphone as just a mic, without being vocoded and without having ...

I ordered one from my local music store, but they got it wrong twice.. The first one had the wrong voltage (good thing I checked before I plugged it in), the second one had outside ring = positive (+); inside tip = negative (-). Once again, good thing I checked first. The one you are looking for is ...

It's a sound file that reminds of the sound loading games from the Commodore 64 tape recorder.
Very old-school indeed. :D

European plug for KA-350?

Hello good people of Korgforums.

I own two wall warts from Korg (KA-350) but they are both with the US plugs..
I noticed that the flat US plugs are easy to change with a snap-on construction.
So my question is if you know where I can get the European (round style) plugs that fit to the KA-350?

Yes, ABCD= 4 samples.
And the card can contain 00-99.kps, 00-99.wav and 00-99.aif for you to load to ABCD

You can drop wave files on the card, but you got to drop them in the card's root, and the sample has to be 48 khz. The best thing to do is to use the computer software called KP3 Editor, there you can preview and transfer the changed settings thru USB. Then everything should be ok. There is a lot to ...

So when I turn on my KP3 it automatically loads the .kps files, then to load the wav files I hit load>all, which changes the samples I can load. Am I doing this right? Is there a way to switch back and forth between the two types of files? What do the load>prog. and load>global functions do exactly ...

You either load one of your 100 kps files (named 00-99) or one of your 100 wav/aif files (also named 00-99).

But remember:

Code: Select all

If both .wav and .aiff files with the same two-digit number exist, the WAVE file will take priority.
So in reality it can only read 200 file names since .wav cancels .aif out..

Korg have decided to use only numbers as file names. So sample "120.bpm.salsa.wav" will be "01.wav" and so on.. The only file extensions you can use are .wav .aif & .kps So you have 100 .wav files, 100 .aif files and 100.kps files. But as the manual states: NOTE In the case of WAVE files or AIFF ...

out of sync relative to what? to each other? i'm not sure what you're saying... i did load a loop created in soundforge on all 4 sample banks using the kp3 editor and then activated all banks and they stayed in sync, as expected... no need to align anything, since it was the same sample... Yes, the ...
