In fact don't waste time on the MAC version since most MAC users have iPhone or ipad I am a MAC user but I don't have an iPhone/iPad :( Sorry about that Loudest. Every Mac user I know went for the complete Mac eco system because of how it all works together. Anyhow I wish that Korg would hire ...

Yes, the limitations (and sloppy implementation) are really annoying, but I still haven't sold mine - yet... It is interesting - the OP-1 also has limitations, but for some reason they don't feel as problematic; the OP-1 really feels like a well thought out instrument, designed and implemented by ...

Question: Is it supposed to take so long loading an all sample file? It successfully loaded a file with just a handfull samples, but now it is working ~20 minuites to load the factory samples + some more samples... This should not be the case, right!? Does the PC version also take so long!? I guess ...

I actually managed to get the github source code running on my OSX after some initial problems installing pyaudio. Question: Is it supposed to take so long loading an all sample file? It successfully loaded a file with just a handfull samples, but now it is working ~20 minuites to load the factory ...

I'm also on OSX (Snow Leopard) and have not been able to get any version working - but I guess If I upgraded OSX it should be possible to get the python version working, it does not seem to be that complicated. But I still need Snow Leopard for Logic 8, so I have no interest in upgrading. I also ...

the Shift short cuts Yes, these were added in the first update I think there's less envelope clicking going on Yes, they changed the behaviour with amp env off in an update (there now seems to exist a hidden "amp env" per part when amp env is set to off, and this has attack and decay set to ~1 ...

Yes, thanks, I know - but that also requires a newer OSX, and I don't feel like updating, since I still use Logic 8.

I was thinking about looking into improving it, but between it using a version of Java that does not even work on my computer (I'm still on OSX 10.6.7), and the the way the program is written (direct file manipulation instead of loading into memory and using structs with sensible field names) making ...

I'll repeat what I wrote in another thread regarding what wav files are compatible. If I try the wrong type of wav, I also get the same error message. I also had a problem with some wave files. From what I understand there are two "standards" for WAV files, and it seems that the electribe sampler ...

I also had a problem with some wave files. From what I understand there are two "standards" for WAV files, and it seems that the electribe sampler only supports one of them. I use sox for file conversion, and there I need to pass the flag "-t wavpcm" to write it in a way that the electribe can read ...

Sure, I always have metronome set to off, and I record percussion and chords for instance using the pads, but external keyboard is also fine, as long as you switch MIDI channel. Just remember to not twist knobs while recording, since this records a motion sequence.

It actually adds one pretty nice thing (and the E2S update also):

The "18/19 PTN. CHANGE LOCK" probably allows blocking pattern change - good when working on a pattern, and not wanting to risk deleting all changes by accidentally switching pattern.

Here is an EBM / electro industrial instrumental, my first finished track: https://soundcloud.com/stahlwerk/loiter Electribe sampler only, but with some compression and limiting in the DAW. Comming from the OP1, It really feels quite similar to how I work with the OP-1 (when doing pattern/loop based ...

I (as an owner of the E2 sampler) don't see how this is a "problem", or why Korg must in some way "respond" to this. It is just a hack, an unsupported feature, that has nothing really to do with Korg. What am I missing? Why would Korg have to do anything differently?

I got a similar response from the German Korg trade representative through the reseller (the trade rep. did not have anything official from Korg though, at the time). I ended up returning it though, since two pads were much harder than the other, and the reseller did not feel like exchanging it ...
