Re: Korg Kronos additional sounds
I have a customer who just purchased a Kronos, and is asking me where to get some additional sounds to round off the Kronos. His main complaint was in comparing to the Yamaha Montage, Vocal uhhs/ahhs/oohs (realistic) Acoustic guitar Distorted Guitar Electric guitar/Wha Saxophones I'm sure he can ...

Bye Bye Kronos
Hi Guys Sorry, I should have mentioned that I also use Komplete 11 Ultimate so to be honest, no keyboard I have is used as just standalone in my setup which includes Cubase. I suppose I have just got more used to Yamaha keyboards over the years having been an avid XF7 and XF8 owner previously. I ...

Bye Bye Kronos
Well, it's time to say goodbye to my short lived Kronos 22 88 Platinum. So fed up with so many issues, I am going back to a Yamaha Montage 8 where I know I will be happy! No more 2 minute bootups, no more poor guitar/piano/orchestral sounds that the only option I am given to improve is to pay ...

To be quite honest, I feel quite insulted that after having invested £3300 to purchase a top of the range keyboard, I have to invest this much money in sounds that are completely lacking in the first place. There should be an option available for us to be able to download these sounds FOC whenever ...

Any one who good with adding parts to a computer/assembling should able to do it for you, if you don't happen to find korg to do it. About $50-$80 USD sounds about right for this. The Most time consuming part is all the screws underneath. Also make sure to buy a Sata cable with the SSD (prefer the ...

Sample Memory/Hard Disc Memory
I have set KSC auto load to load a couple of banks into RAM together with the standards PRELOAD.KSC and it says that after having loaded this on startup, I have 500Mb left for sampling. I have the Kronos 2 and 3Gb of memory but am curious about installing an additional SSD. Firstly, I don't have the ...

Price of Korg and almost everything else from Europe
Remember Brexit all? As we left the EU, the value of the pound tumbled and as these instruments are all imported, the price has been pushed up extensiby. The Kronos and indeed Montage have both gone up from around £3k to £3300 which is a direct result of the fall in exchange rate. Even the Integra h ...
