Re: Kronos System update 3.2.1 for all released?
For those who decided to go ahead with the 3.2 update, once done go to the KSC Auto-Load tab and add the amounts in the three colored (blue/red/green) boxes. What is your sum ?

Re: Kronos 2/X Users BeWare of new Kronos OS v3.2.1
Yep, that confirms what I was pretty sure about. As I mentioned elsewhere, no thanks, no update for me. The only advantage I saw was to get the additional EXi EP-1 piano, but I am fine with the K2's EXi electric pianos and there is no way that I will downgrade my current 1960 Mb.

Re: Kronos 3 sounds for older models
This is disappointing. I already purchased the Italian Grand years ago which seems to be the biggest benefit of this package. In fact, I bought it twice to use on two Kronos' before they started allowing sharing. Not worth it for me... Yep, I agree this is pretty ridiculous. Maybe they will wake up ...

Re: LOST SOUNDS (erased??)
If you don't mind carrying a brick thick as the Tokyo phonebook, you could print the parameter guide (1189 pages) and/or the operation guide (305 pages). It's better to simply print the pages you will need most often. The Kronos implies several backup aspects to keep in mind. 1) Save All - do it ...

Re: Kronos 2025 software + documentation (EDIT)
Someone already did in a recent video. The new download links you found are about update/restore data for people who recently bought a K3. You can always install it at your own risk if you want, but amongst other things you will end up with the new EXs libraries stuck in demo mode. And you won't be ...

Re: Kronos 3: Backordered More Than Available.
The following two stickies found at the top of the Kronos forum cover lots. INDEX - KORG KRONOS Resources and Information The Kronos Tips & Tricks Thread I didn't check if all their links still work, but they have been pretty much the top references for many years here. IMHO it is rather pointless ...

Re: KORG KRONOS 3 VS KRONOS 2 REVIEW INTERNALS & CLONING KRONOS 3 DRIVE TO KRONOS 2 & LOADING SPEED TEST WITH SAME OS CO
Hi again, I checked the video again this morning and I was incorrect earlier. The RJ-45 is gone on the new MOBO (what we see instead is the HDMI jack) so no possibility for direct FTP connection like on a K2. And the MOBO components you mention as missing (similar to what they did in the K2) are ...

Re: KORG KRONOS 3 VS KRONOS 2 REVIEW INTERNALS & CLONING KRONOS 3 DRIVE TO KRONOS 2 & LOADING SPEED TEST WITH SAME OS CO
Finally, someone who shows what is in there in a movie. Thanks for sharing. I'm not surprised at all as I was expecting a very modest hardware "update". Looking quickly, there still seems to be a LAN port for direct FTP connection as none of the old interfaces works. So there is hope for people who ...

Re: Are there stock full orchestra combis?
Hi Chris, you are welcome ! :D I remember there is at least one of those orchestral combis that is cool in that when you play strongly on the lower octaves, timpanies come out to add a dramatic effect. 8) I agree with you that the K2 is an incredible machine and full of potential to discover even ...

Re: Are there stock full orchestra combis?
You should find 40 stock combis specified as "orchestral" in the K2. Start doing a category search in combi mode, then if you are looking for a more "complete" orchestra, expand your search with the sub-category "large". Then you can build from those and create your own using the stock stuff.

Re: Controlling Pan Using a Foot Pedal
For a HD-1 program, adding a Leslie/Rotary in IFX/MFX/TFX takes control of the pan settings, so it won't work. So it's best you keep your program as is or transform it into a CX-3 program, which might take a while.

Re: Not enough aftertouch
Yes it is a hardware mod I did on mine. Inside the K2 is a tiny PCB that controls the AT. By adding some components to it, the AT threshold can be made easier to initiate instead of bleeding from the fingers pushing like crazy on the keys. Of course, it implies some soldering, knowledge in ...

Re: Controlling Pan Using a Foot Pedal
For a CX-3 program, in the Amp/VC/Rotary subtab and under Main Output set Pan to L030, then Foot Pedal (CC#04) as AMS and +70 for Intensity (or opposite numbers/polarities if you want to go left pushing the pedal, etc.). You might also of course need to disable CC#04 in the Controllers - Expression ...
