helllllllllllo there. soooooo..... i'm a git about MIDI. trying to use my Novation LaunchKey with my ES2. my setup is the LaunchKey over USB into my windows desktop, a NI Komplete Audio 6 as my USB audio interface the LaunchKey works fine playing soft synths in Cubase or Live, but i can't get it to ...

hurm. i'm in that group, didna know the history, saw that banning post, was odd but didna catch until now HOW odd.

...... although a bunch of people there did help me figure out a solution for running 2 USB MIDI devices into the ES2, so that was nice.

durp. i'm a git. lol. of course it draws it's power from USB.

and if i powered it off a hub it would not have the USB/MIDI out to conenct to an ES2.

hurm. doubt there's a tiny keys controller that either runs off batteries or has a USB for power and another for MIDI out.
