Korg Krome and Bandlab Cakewalk
Hi I can get the Krome to record MIDI into Bandlab Cakewalk However if I record piano on track 1 and a drum track on track 10 the playback only activates one sound. Either both tracks play as piano or as drums? This happens with any instruments and any track number. How do you get each MIDI track on ...

I want to do this so that the sound card drivers are used not the Korg USB driver. The MIDI to sound card cable seems sound and tests OK Using the USB to USB cable and Cakewalk trial version on a W10 PC the played MIDI came back totally out of time. A series of regularly played crochets came back ...

MIDI to USB via MIDI ports?
Hi
I can connect and use MIDI by connecting the Krome USB port to USB on the PC
However if I connect the MIDI in/out ports to USB (using a 2 plug midi to USB cable) I cannot get the Krome recognised by the PC software
Please can anyone advise how to do this ?
TIA
Vigman

Adding programs to cue list
Hi I want the Krome to have a cue list of song settings, not recorded songs. I managed to get song settings created in combination mode to save in a cue list by using the "copy from combination" option and then inserting the 'song' into the cue list. However some song settings are single instruments ...

Problem adding track to Auto Song sequence
Hi I'm helping a friend who has a Krome. I am experienced in sequencing from a synth to a PC using Cakewalk and Cubase. I was able to show him how to build up a song on the instrument sequencer a track at a time (and we can now save and retrieve songs and combinations) Having seen the videos and ...

Odd panning output to recorder
Hi Not the owner of the Krome but attempting to help a new owner! I recorded output directly from the summed port to a digital stereo recorder. The instrument used was a single program selection (piano type) across the whole keyboard. About 90% of the output panned to the left channel and the other ...

Thanks again! Didn't help that the Cd that came with the Krome won't play on my friend's PC so most learning today from the printed quick guide and the YouTube tutorials! Think I'm more with it now thanks to your help. I would just have had a quick "do you want to save your composition/ sound/ data ...

Thanks again. I'm not near the instrument owner's house now so can't check but where do you create the title of the song. If I have loaded NewSong 1, then created a performance, what is the process for naming the song Vigman 1, please? Only had hands on for a few hours today. Have to say I prefer ...

Thanks for the quick reply. We'll play with song and file names and see the correlation. I'm used to recordings of events and sounds in a performance being the same as the file name When NewSong X played the loaded file n.sng it explains why the recorded piece had a different song and file name and ...
