I bought myself a Samson C-Valve pre-amp and it makes ALLL the difference in the world. Now I don't need compression on the vocals, I just dial in the gain, and it's usable with just a wee bit of eq.

Thanks for the response!

Getting proper mic input in D1200

When using condenser mics (and onboard phantom power) and using the gain knob, I have a difficult time getting a decent level. There's almost nothing and then I hit a spot and the signal is wayyy too hot. Less and I have to get too close and get proximity issues and still have WAAYY too much ...

doubling up sounds in the sequencer

I'm trying to double up certain sounds in the sequencer to create some thickness to a drum drack as well as a flute track. I copied one drum track to an open track (did the ame with a flute track), programmed the same sound and was playing with offset and swing to no avail. Just get a flanging ...

Saving:What am I doing wrong?

Okay, I've created a "song" (I think) in Sequence mode(three times actually). Recorded 4 tracks. But wasn't able to mix it to my studio for lack of time. I thought it was saved but each time when I boot up the keyboard the song is gone...pfffft.... :( The last time I at least was able to call up the ...

marching drum beat

Hi all! Just picked up a TR61 and love it! I'm new though to the keyboard based drum patch thang, and was wondering if you had any tips or thoughts on creating/recording a civil war type marching drum beat. Is it an arpeggiator type of thing or a sequencer thing or both? Thoughts (as well as dumbed ...
