What about voice command / control?
Can you control the M3 editor using some voice control software?
I can only imagine your frustration - I get lost easily myself trying to fathom the M3 screens.

Could you or someone create some brail overlays to mount on the screen when using the M3 editor? I'm not sure if that would work but perhaps if it helped locate the drop down menus etc that might be some help to you? Are you using Windows XP? Does that have some feature to 'speak' when you touch the ...

In answer to your second question: You can use the M3 with any software sequencer program such as Sonar, Live, Cubase without having to use the M3 editor at all. Just assign a relevant midi track to the M3 MIDI output device in the programs setup pages. Live for example sees the M3 through the M3 ...

I'll keep looking for a solution to this in the manual etc of course but meanwhile has anyone else tried using one of the external sets? I loaded one for NI's FM7 and there were no assigned controls. Other than the name being available in the drop down M3 menu what else needs to be done to load ...
