now we can enjoy what we have ... or move on ..! complaining out it seems to be a waste of energy ..!?!? Full agreement. After 10 years, the Kronos is a "mature" product. Further updates by Korg are unlikely, and should not be expected. Korg has moved on, by spinning out the Oasys/Kronos ...

While I am not familiar with that specific pedal, in my experience, I have found that any pedal seems to work with the Kronos. I have used Yamaha, Roland, and Alesis pedals of various types with no issue. (Of course, the polarity of a damper pedal may need to be adjusted in Global if it's not a Korg ...

The Kronos does instant gratification quite well. The key is to just stick to using the Set List, or directly navigating Programs and Combis, without making any parameter changes, and trying not to get intimidated by the complexity under the hood. We drive insanely complex modern cars, without ...

Its not about the screensize... its about the interface.... The Nautilus works much more comfortable then the Kronos Hmmm ... how is the Nautilus' interface "more comfortable" than the Kronos interface? It is essentially the same interface, just with a slightly more modern look. But on a slightly ...

In the US, there was no reduction in Kronos pricing at any of the national online retailers when the Nautilus was announced. Pricing for all Kronos models has remained steady over the past five years or so. (Unlike the Fantom – which had a brief price reduction of a few hundred $$$ at one point last ...

I owned a Kronos 2 88 for more than three years – as well as a 73 SE for nearly a year – and had no issues whatsoever with the RH3 action on either. Certainly nothing "creaky." Though both the Kronos and the SV use the RH3, perhaps the Kronos' chassis or assembly make it feel or behave differently on ...

[q That said, the Kronos is the only board currently in production that is built on what is essentially PC tech – with all that goes with computer reliability. Not sure what Korg could do address these types of boot issues, given the overall design of Kronos. theoretical discussions are not easy on ...

I would not abandon Korg completely just because a product is defective. EVERY company has something wrong with a synth every now and then and yes, it is extremely inconvenient and frustrating when it does happen. Maybe, for whatever reason, Korg has not been made aware enough of this issue with ...

Wow, that would be frustrating! Was the box intact? Did it show any signs of being thrown around during shipping? If so, that could explain the start up error on a brand new unit. As Greg suggests, I would return it and get a replacement. I wouldn’t give up on the Kronos, however. I’ve owned three di ...

I suggest a workaround- if/when the tempo blink is distracting you, place a small piece of fabric over it.

Very true, Greg. There was a time, not more than 5 years ago, when every major instrument retailer near me had demos of every flagship model. Now, it's rare to see a Montage or even the new Fantom—much less a Kronos 2 or LS—on the floor. Makes an informed buying decision a bit more difficult—and next ...

Congrats on your purchase, Dimitris! Kronos is a gift that keeps on giving – a phenomenal workstation. My only advice is to be patient and learn its mysteries ... it is very rewarding in the end! Since you are coming from the Triton, you will at least understand the Korg way of doing things. I didn't ...
