Can anyone help with the starting blocks for creating a deep, organ bursting bass.

I've been trying to create my own...and its a deep black void. Can anyone advice on what sounds is good to use and what parts to stay away from in the X50 Sound editing.

I have checked out the other threads...i understand now.

But I still have the issue of this programme sounding limp in multi mode...any idea why and what i can do...

So i'm trying to create a multi track...I want to use the sound Drive Bass. i copy this, and the programme effects into my multi page. But the sound is not what it sounds like in the programme mode.

Can anyone tell me why and how to fix it.

So I have this kick ass bass sound in Programme mode, all effects set. So once I use this sound it multi mode its all limp...even if i change the effects ( not all the settings within)

Is it possible to copy the effect over to Multi mode?

yes the knobs on the front panel.....i'm amending the sound but can't save it..i save and it stays as it was. Do i need to amend this is combi mode or in the mutli mode?

sorry for not being clear. So you can add each octave of the 4 to a note? how do i do that?

example: the drum settings, when you select one if the Drum and Bass ones, and set it to 4 octave, it changes the pattern every one or 2 bars, can i chose which one to use for a certain note.

I've messed around with my combi function, changed the sounds with the realtime controls. when i save it, it goes back to the original combi sound. I have followed the manual step by step, but still stays the same sound.

any sugestions

is it possible to use the other octaves in the arp settings...on the editor it alows you to choose up to octave 4 but can you just play octave 4, or does the whole pattern have to run.

Let me know if i'm not clear.

i've recently got myself a X50 and form what it looks like this is the place to get some tips as well as pick some brains.

To make this clear...i'm brand new to the synth scene and may ask alot of basic questions...

So I have taken a leap to use the X50 with the mpc 1000 as my sequencer. I have hooked it all up..midi in and out. I get the MPC to sync with the X50 and even record the sequence but I can not for the life of me hear what i have recorded.

Any help will me much appreciated.
