I can't imagine that Korg has hung up its design hat and given up on new products. My gut feeling is that the Nautilus was playing catch up to the ModX and Fantom-0, and also buying them time to figure out what to do next. Honestly, these flagship platforms do so much already that it's difficult to ...

Meh, I think Korg has proven that there's far more ergonomic and intuitive approaches to the pitch/mod wheel, and I don't know why other manufacturers don't seem to be picking up on that.

I don't think I could go back to a separate pitch/mod wheel style keyboard at this point.

On the original Kronos/Kronos X, if the start up display shows graphic icons depicting the nine sound engines, then the sub system firmware is one of the latest, (V6.04 or V6.06). Even if the latest version is already installed, the firmware updater can be used to (re)install the latest firmware ...

Subsysytem Firmware Update on Kronos X?

Hi all, I've got a Kronos X and I'm just going through the process of making sure it's all as up to date as possible, etc, given that it's no longer a supported product so best to update before the support files eventually vanish from the Korg website! I've noticed on the Kronos X downloads page ...

S/PDIF Digital Out Problems

My audio interface has S/PDIF in/out connections, but they are coaxial connections. The Kronos also has S/PDIF in/outs, but they are optical toslink cables. I've bought an optical/coaxial converter, but I'm not getting the expected results. When I use the converter to run audio FROM the interface TO ...

here's a visual: https://forums.karma-lab.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18110 Plus, your retailer should have written the s/n on your purchase receipt. Yeah, I seen that visual yesterday. I think this is where they put the S/N on the original Kronos, but now it appears to have moved to the rear beside ...

Re: KRONOS X - Where is the serial number?

I've recently purchased a 2nd hand Kronos X (from a reputable music dealer!), however it didn't come in the original packaging and I can't seem to find any obvious serial number on the body of the keyboard itself. If you didn't get the restore DVDs, then red flags abound. The serial is on the body ...

KRONOS X - Where is the serial number?

I've recently purchased a 2nd hand Kronos X (from a reputable music dealer!), however it didn't come in the original packaging and I can't seem to find any obvious serial number on the body of the keyboard itself. I'm thinking about buying a sound pack from Korg, but they require the serial number ...
