follow the instructions in the PDF to the letter ...... read the part about what to do after the reboot! Hello All, Just got my Korg m3 73-key. I love it. Need help. I upgraded to SYS 1.2.0 just like it said and did everything the instructions said but when I look for the 512 new sounds can't find ...

we are all bashing our M3s!!!

mind you I had 3 days off work .. I was so ill I didnt do much ... I couldnt concentrate !

ended up vegging on the couch

feeling better now though ... and back to work

well ... i bought the 73 version so in case I wanted to buy a Radias MK2

or the MK1 ever gets a VST plug in



until then Ill see what the exb-radias will do!

im actually off sick these past days ... so around the house coughing my lungs up ... playing the M3 for some hours

Same issue here when I started playing with Sonar and couldnt get audio into tracks from softynths or the Virus TI Polar! easy when you know how isnt it!!!! btw I am also using the VST plug in - no probs usb running midi in/out and the firewire streaming audio .... only the most miniscule delay ...

Ian , best way to start before you update is can you run and connect the editor by USB ??

no need for a midi cable.

I assume that you have installed the USB driver ??

Can you connect the editor to the radias ....??

Congrats! And you're diving right in, too! Me, I got mine just over 2 weeks ago; I have the EXB-M256 but am thinking of waiting until my free EXB-Radias comes in and install them at the same time. :-) And I still haven't made it through all the sounds yet. :-) Did you ever get your answer on using ...

well ..... its arrived!

unpacked

and installed the radias and fw cards

updated firmware, installed the extra sound packs and updated radias etc etc



a busy morning!!!!

well I have had a bit of luck too I placed the order then the store called me to say they had a mint condition returned 73 key for almost the same price as a 61 would I be interested! :shock: Hmm of course!!! So now I have a 73 key version coming :-) only I miss one day in the shipping so friday ...
