well ..... its arrived!

unpacked

and installed the radias and fw cards

updated firmware, installed the extra sound packs and updated radias etc etc

a busy morning!!!!

Congrats! And you're diving right in, too! Me, I got mine just over 2 weeks ago; I have the EXB-M256 but am thinking of waiting until my free EXB-Radias comes in and install them at the same time.

And I still haven't made it through all the sounds yet.

Did you ever get your answer on using the M3 with Sonar?

yes v pleased .... and I had a non musical friend over today and she was v interested when I demonstrated Karma and the pads ....

she asked if she could try and then spent 2 hours walking through all sorts of combis with just drums, karma enabled and bashing the pads making some quite decent melodies and bass lines!

she was totally taken back by the M3 and what it could do, she came to Frankfurt with me for the Music Messe and really enjoyed the time there.... i dont think she will be a stranger .... shes a girl whose got her eye on me pads!!!!

Ive an M256 arriving as soon as korg.de send it out - hopefully this week

yes ... I even invested in a cheap small 160gb portable USB 2.0 disk today so I can use it as dedicated storage for the M3

I am really taken by the capabilities and the creative ideas are literally running thru my head when I run thru the patches!!

The Radias and FW are in - Actually the FW seems to be doing the bizz just now ... im not seeing any latency - its a TI chipset in the PC its being driven into - so i am quite pleased there.

Sonar - no I didnt but I guess I will be able to answ2er it pretty quick now its here!!

So its all go here with the new box - guess I may not be tempted by that G7 after all!!

i like the radias board add on ... i like the combis

but I am drawn everytime back to the programs on I-F

I shall be interested to spend alot more time playing with those lovely VA sound sets!!!!

to be honest I'm not an instant fan of the radias presets

most of them are unusable for my needs
but I can see how much this thing can do, just gotta learn to use it right
it's a tiny beast

well ... i bought the 73 version so in case I wanted to buy a Radias MK2

or the MK1 ever gets a VST plug in

until then Ill see what the exb-radias will do!

im actually off sick these past days ... so around the house coughing my lungs up ... playing the M3 for some hours

not too bad!!!!
