Is there difference in Mono and L+R combined?

I'm using the TEX through a mono system. My question: would there be a difference in connecting to only the Left (Mono) output, or using a Y-connection to bundle Left and Right?

Maybe your keyboard is set to wrong type after the reset? See the solution in http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=30353.

Sorry to hear this. I had a similar problem, although mine occured after a factory reset. So I don't expect this to help, but it's worth giving it a try. See my posting here: http://korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/view ... hp?t=30353

I've just received a gig bag for my 88 key Extreme, a soft bag made of heavy-duty 600 Denier Cordura Nylon fabric with 20mm foam padding. I've choosen this soft bag because it's an affordable way to protect the instrument when stored. I'll only use it for storage, and the odd occasion where I need ...

I've had to open up the damper pedal that came with my used TEX (chord had to be replaced), and it appears to be a simple on/off switch inside. No electronics whatsoever. Any pedal that is "Normally Open" (which means: contacts are not closed when pedal is not pushed) will do. Don't worry about ...

Just want to add something else to the checklist by jpmorris when no output is coming from your keyboard: - Hold buttons "-" and "Enter" (Self Check mode) while powering up - After the Self Check has completed, press the page menu button - Select "Select Keyboard" - Check for the correct keyboard ...

Not sure if you're encountering same problem as I did, but I had to set the correct keyboard type first after doing a factory reset before I could produce any sound. See http://korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/view ... hp?t=30353

I've had a simular problem; in my case I had to set the correct keyboard type somewhere in a hidden area. See my posting http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... 557#207557.

Hope this helps!

PROBLEM SOLVED: No sound after Factory Reset

I've bought a used Korg Triton Extreme 88, and after playing it for a day, I decided to do a Factory Reset (holding "0" and "Enter" while power on). Then loaded all the Preload data and... no sound at all, or, very weird: after power up every key just sounds once when you hit it, and then a deadly ...
