It may be that the floppy disk drive band, made of rubber, has lost its elasticity, as happend with my even more ancient Yamaha SY-77. Once I replaced the band, the floppy worked perfectly. Hope someone can help me here..... The on-board battery in my Trinity V3 died, leaving me with no sounds on my board. Factory Sounds Reset
Visit reverb.com or keyboardkountry.com, they sell Korg factory preload floppy disk sets for the Trinity. But from what I've seen, they only load banks A and B on the Program sounds, and only A, B, and M on the Combination sounds. Banks C and D have no sounds in them after loading from these disks ...
