Hi Nedim and others, After reading the forum daily for about 1 year, just my reaction. I play a PA1Xpro for 3 years. About 90 gigs a year. Never one problem. I bought a PA2 in december 2007. Sold it in March 2008 after I had several crashes on stage. Lost about 800 Euros with that sale. Total shame ...

to Mr Trammanoni
Dear mr. Trammanoni, Like I described in this subject, I've had several moments, when my PA2Xpro froze on stage, just when playing styles, not one pcm-sample loaded. There are many more PA2 users with this problem, on this and other forums. "can you imagine how it would be, after pressing fill 2 ...

Hi Nedim and others, I reïnstalled the resources, loaded Sets without Global, without PCM... and so on. I know Korg will help us solve the bugs in a OS Update.... I don´t know when............. ---------------------------------------------------------- So, Saturdaynight the gig on PA2Xpro..... three ...

Hi Anders, No, it hasn't. As far as I know, it is not possible to build it in future updates. The vocal harmony on PA2 is three part, while PA1 is four part. The real time parameters on PA2 are not as logical as on PA1. So if you need the vocalist part very much, please test it well before you buy ...

.... and the harddisk that`s standard with the PA2. But still I agree with Chris that there has not been any change or improvement on the Soundchip. Still, I don´t have the technical knowledge whether this is necessary. But, if you compare the sound of PA1X (2004) with PA2 (end 2007), just with your ...

Hi Johan, 1. You can save these settings in each performance or songbook-performance. That way you can have various settings for each song you play. 2. You can lock this in Global mode: that way the fill-settings are the same for all performances. Please see page 105, 216 and 230 of the English PDF ...

@Hi Alex, I agree with you. Besides, it was no fast judgement. You, me and others put the PA1Xpro and PA2xpro aside and concluded that the same Sound-names sound different, ánd the list of multisamples (guitars) is different. Even after hours of tweaking, I simply cannot remake the same Clean Guitar ...

Hi Brian, I don't know about NAMM, here in Europe in March there will be the German Frankfurter Messe. And yes, at a recent demonstration the Belgian demonstrator Chris Lommel said the same. He told that there would be a great deal of new 3th party styles. He didn't know if they would be free or not ...

Hi Don, There are many (converted) Styles for PA800 on the net, but most of them are of poor quality. If you haven't those already, KORGPA.com provides some. The German PA buyers can download many many good (song)styles from www.korg.de/softwarecentre. You should have a German serienumber to be able ...

Hi Nedim, The PA1 factory guitars, using Multisamples 198 E gtr vintage mf, 199 E gtr vintage P, 190 E gtr Sberg P2, 191 E gtr Sberg f2 do use other Multisamples on PA2. Of course it's a matter of personal taste, but I really think (without using Prozac) these guitars sound worse. No bright attack ...

About two years ago I converted about all Factory Tyros 1 styles to PA1 with EMC style editor. The result was very poor, almost all styles needed tweeking and even then, the velocity values in drum and accompaniment didn't fit PA1. I've never really used one style out of that action. I think you ...

Hi Alex, Are these samples replacing the missing Multisamples 198 E gtr vintage mf, 199 E gtr vintage P, 190 E gtr Sberg P2, 191 E gtr Sberg f2.? 'Cause it's a shame that Korg replaced them without any notice with many flat "jazzguitar sounding" all of the same kind samples. I still hope they place ...
