How about transposing your existing song (sequence I take it) down a whole town, recording that with your loop and then transposing the whole thing back up in logic pro. ( A sort of up-scale Garage Band, right?). You can transpose the TREX sequence tracks down in SEQ, P. 2 (Trk Param).

No identical experience but I haven't been able to get a Tascam US 122 to send anything but a midi signal to Garage Band.
