Yes, but am I going to be in the middle of a show and suddenly have to reauthorize these plugins? Without understanding why this is happening, I can't take the risk of using them.

I have all the Legacy products and they were authorized on my Macbook Pro, was using them (VST versions) with MaxMSP.

This morning, I installed Ableton Live on that machine and when it was scanning my plugins (again, just the VST versions), I was prompted to authorize EACH product again.

Why?

Just to be clear, you're saying that I should not have had to explicitly load the samples?

OK --- figured this out but still puzzled. Turns out that after you load the program, you have to tap the top right drop down menu and select "Load required samples" Never even occurred to me to look at that menu. So the question is, why do I have to do that? Why don't the samples get loaded ...

Well, the problem is that when I select the program and go to OSC 1 Basic, the place where I'm supposed to select a sample is RED and indicates that no samples are available.

I'm confused. Are you suggesting that I'm supposed to add that ksc file to auto load BEFORE I have been able to get the single program loaded in the first place? I'm not near the computer or Kronos right now so I can't get you the sizes but it's not very big. There's really nothing else, even on the ...

Thanks for responding --- I thought auto-load was related to making sure the samples were loaded after powering up the Kronos but here's the scenario I know how to get the Kronos to load an entire bank. When I do that, I get prompted to load all the samples as well and then the program becomes ...

I'm using the Chicken Systems Translator 6 (which seems to do a terrific job with actual conversions) but after it generates the files, I'm having trouble getting them loaded into my Kronos. Are the commercial libraries created by 3rd party vendors protected the same way?

I'd love to be able to buy some of the libraries for my Kronos but I can't because of the DRM. The problem is that when I tour, I often need to rent a Kronos in different cities and any libraries I buy won't be able to load on them because of their public keys. Surely I can't be the only touring ...

I was hoping to be able to load the contents of a USB drive into the Kronos software editor so that I could look for stuff more efficiently than actually searching using the Kronos itself. If the fan will go into high automatically, then I don't see the point of having an OPTION to set it to low. It should just always be low except when it has to go high!

In which case one wonders why it's necessary to have the option in the first place?
