I'm with you too. I took it as a challenge and have developed a special combi set exactly for this purpose. I can say that m3 is perfect for creating ballads, rock, jazz, pop, acoustics, piano songs etc. too.

I was away from my M3 for a while but now I'm back and will start working on a new project.

What do you mean with "lowering the level"? Does sound level go from normal to lower gradually or instantly? Is this lower value always the same or even zero? Do you also hear any sound changes (filter, distorsion...)? In this case maybe ribbon controller might be stuck... Have you already reloaded ...

Hi, you define this settings on COMBI P7–1: KARMA 1 page. Change "Out" (MIDI output channel) for each KARMA Module to match MIDI channel(s) of your sounds.

As the event was perfectly designed in all respect I think the point was to have the best looking board on stage...

Are these combis based on the original M3 soundset? I'm asking because half of my programs have been re-arranged during gigs. So I guess I'd have to load the factory presets before I load these combis? I might just get this combi pack. Ever since I bought the new CP5, my M3 is just lying there ...
