Aye, the drum parts do NOT transmit CC, it is the synth parts Yee neen to send CC, consult Yer Manual - it should say how to change CC for synth parts.

what kind of wire should i be using? that's the only question i have found unanswered...i hear that certain wiring makes a huge difference. Wiring does make a huge difference! Look for a brand called "Monster Cable". My MIDI sounds way better. Get gold plated midi cables if possible. Sure sure ...

it does not realy matters, if it is 32 or 41 kHz - as long as it sound good in your mix it is ok.

well, if someone would cacrifice his/her power cable, which connects esx/emx and the power adapter, it would be able to measrue how much Ampers of current are running in the wire...

:arrow: ease up now ppl, i recently jacked up a baterry pack from 6xAAA type "finger" batteries, that is 6 x 1.5 =~ 9 the esx adapter shows, that it produces 9v AC, battery pack creates 9v DC - if you put the DC through the AC/DC conventor, which obviously must be inside the esx, it is able to boot ...
