If you use a Mac, look for an app called MidiKeys; it's free and routes MIDI and USB in and out of your computer without having to open anything else. If you're using a PC, I'd be really surprised if there weren't about 50 equivalent apps for the PC.

All you can do with that set up is get the tempo to sync up.

I don't think it's your Mac, it's the Radias editor. My Radias editor won't work over USB, just MIDI. I know it's the editor because other editors I've used over USB work fine. Sorry I don't have an answer for you.

A Pro Solo will work too but you'll be spending about $200 more than you need to and you'll only be using about 5% of what that box is meant for.

You don't need a MIDI to CV box at all, just a box that does MIDI to DIN Sync and/or DIN sync to MIDI. A Korg KMS-30 will do the job, but those seem to be expensive on ebay for some reason. I bought the DS-10 from Japan. I think I probably know everything it can do since the interface is in English, but I'd still like to look at an English version of the manual to be sure. Anybody know if an English manual is available yet?

I waded through both of those threads. I've updated my Radias to 2.01 and updated the MIDI USB driver to 1.08r1 which, as far as I can tell, is the latest driver. Still, the Editor won't talk to the Radias via USB. The editor sees the Radias because it lists the Radias as a choice when selecting the ...

Oh and the Radias is set to receive sysex. I even tried using the version 1 editor again, but now it doesn't work either. I guess this means the problem is on the Radias.
