As CfNorENa seemed to say, effects have nothing to do with creating fills or otherwise generating notes. It may help to browse the online PDF manuals for the M50 to get a better feel for what effects are used for. If you're after automatic note creation, check out the documentation on the included ...

I'm not sure how many discreet tracks of audio you can record simultaneously (haven't tried it yet), but you can definitely play back more than one. A single track can contain stereo samples. The audio doesn't have to start at the beginning of the song, so it's possible to use RAM efficiently. BTW ...

A few options come to mind: - Use a volume pedal and perform the fade as you play. - Sequence a volume fade, either with the notes (giving you less to play live) or without (letting you still play the notes live). - Program X-Y mode to allow you to fade the piano, and then record the motion and save ...

You can get this on Motif XS for each Oscillator. 128 layers of velocity switching on each key.... because multisamples in Yamaha have both key-range and velocity-range. You could have 128 levels of velocity switching in a multisample only if you use mono samples and only one sample per velocity to ...

To maximize a program's volume in a combination, set its volume to 127 AND set the EQ Trim (edit page 2-1) to 99. If you still need more gain, try choosing Stereo Limiter as the Total Effect. Use the Gain Adjust parameter to boost the volume as needed. This effect will compress the combi's dynamic ...

Re: Message for Korg if they're listening
2. Please add a play list facility so we can add our favorite programs / combis to it. This is a great idea. Yamaha has had this (Master mode) for years on their Motifs and S90's. For now at least, you can get a lot of the same functionality by creating duplicates and assigning them to the last ...

But overall, it's an investment of time if you're going to use your board for sampling, sequencing, making it live performance ready, etc. Once you go beneath the easy-to-understand surface level, all 3 of these boards require you to invest serious time and patience in learning their system. The ...

No, you would not have to reload your programs or combis the next time you power up the Triton. Samples and sequences are the only things that are not kept when the power is off. Everything else will be right where you left it. You would not have to load individual sounds. Loading everything at once ...
