Hi Sharp,

Any chance of PA users having this converted into Pa1x/Pa800/Pa2x or triton format?

This is what Korgpa documents

Effects :4 Stereo Digital Multi-Effect systems – 124 Effects types plus VOCODER – Final semiparametric three band EQ - Voice Processor Technology by TC Helicon: Three-part Harmonizer, Reverb, Delay, Compressor, EQ

So its 4 not 2 EFX

I thought it is just the echoing that makes singing in the shower better. Since the pa800 has only 2 EFX, i would take that to mean it won't have as much reverb and other effects as a keyboard with more EFX. So my understanding is that it's disadvantage is that it won't be able to provide these ...

EFX?

Hello,

Does anybody know what EFX stands for and what it is?. People on other forums suggest the pa800 suffers from having only 2 EFX.

Can anyone please explain what the role of EFX is and what advantages there are in having more EFX?

Cheers

Hello chrisg, I haven't played any of them and i don't think anyone on these forums has a pa588. You could ask the members in the M50 section about the piano but it all comes down to your taste. The pa588 has styles and has compatibility with the pa800/pa2x the M50 doesn't. The piano of the pa588 is ...

Platinumuser,

Quit your rubbish you have no case. Grow up and stop acting like a 2 months old baby. Where do you come up with all these alien theories that turks are ignored?. I don't see anything wrong with how turks or any other countries are treated.

Emir, Thanks for your reply it makes alot of sense. I was thinking about what you said it sounds reasonable. Why couldn't Korg design the pa2x to use it's RAM like the M3? Let's do the mathematics. If we have 128 MB of RAM or 256 expandable a 50 MB upgrade seems good, it also leaves space for other ...

300 MB of new sounds. If you look at the M3 upgrade that is 3 times the size of factory sounds on the pa2x and it is only an upgrade. The upgrades we get are a couple of megabytes including the OS. The current sounds are superb, but 300MB worth of new sounds or even 100 MB would be great.

It would be nice if they allow complete compatibility between these two keyboards. I don't see a problem with it since we are all a part of the Korg family. I would be irritated and i know all the pa2x/800 users will be if what belongs specificaly for the Arrangers is implemented in the M3 without ...

Hi Rob, Would you think assigning DNC to the existing pipe organs would lead to a more realistic sounds than the drawbar pipe organs? An M3 can create many more sounds and solo play capabilities using standard factory resources because there are over 360 Mbytes of factory samples and sounds with the ...

Hi Rob, I have made a comparison between them the same way you propose. Though i don't know how you managed to do that if your pa2x is at the korg labs. I would again bring to your attention i am talking about DNC present in the current OS. Since you don't have your pa2x you can't make a fair ...
