EFX?
Hello,
Does anybody know what EFX stands for and what it is?. People on other forums suggest the pa800 suffers from having only 2 EFX.
Can anyone please explain what the role of EFX is and what advantages there are in having more EFX?
Cheers

Hello chrisg, I haven't played any of them and i don't think anyone on these forums has a pa588. You could ask the members in the M50 section about the piano but it all comes down to your taste. The pa588 has styles and has compatibility with the pa800/pa2x the M50 doesn't. The piano of the pa588 is ...

Emir, Thanks for your reply it makes alot of sense. I was thinking about what you said it sounds reasonable. Why couldn't Korg design the pa2x to use it's RAM like the M3? Let's do the mathematics. If we have 128 MB of RAM or 256 expandable a 50 MB upgrade seems good, it also leaves space for other ...

It would be nice if they allow complete compatibility between these two keyboards. I don't see a problem with it since we are all a part of the Korg family. I would be irritated and i know all the pa2x/800 users will be if what belongs specificaly for the Arrangers is implemented in the M3 without ...

Hi Rob, Would you think assigning DNC to the existing pipe organs would lead to a more realistic sounds than the drawbar pipe organs? An M3 can create many more sounds and solo play capabilities using standard factory resources because there are over 360 Mbytes of factory samples and sounds with the ...
