I sent novamusik an email regarding the Kronos 61 and I was given a price of $2799. Looks like they are taking 200 off MAP for all models.

I will be hitting NAMM tomorrow morning, if you have a list of things you want me to take pics/vids of let me know here. I am definitely excited to see/hear the kronos! (and eventually buy it) :wink: Let me know if user samples can be loaded and played directly from disk without having to load them ...

To those of you who own an Oasys...

How bad is the sequencer? From what I hear it has no piano roll.
Is the sequencer similar to the one in the Triton Studio?
Do you use it instead of software DAW to make complete songs?
Anyone of you actually prefer it over a real DAW?

In that case I'll be moving on. I can't believe Korg is rehashing the same old sequencer in this day and age. They could have at least updated it.

According to Stephen Kay, Kronos uses KARMA 2.2.8 not version 3.

Is this the same old sequencer in the Oasys or has it been revamped?
