I'm selling the M3 rather than the Motif as I've been gigging with the Motif and have all my set list set up in it. The sounds also suit our band more than those in the M3.

We also play this in our band, but I use my Fantom G for the bass arp. I'll have a go at recreating it in the M3 at the weekend and post the combi on here if successful.

I think what you may be referring to is called 'ducking' which is achieved with sidechain compression and is very popular in dance and trance music. I take the easy option and connect an iPod to the Audio Inputs, then play along to that . If I'm in my studio though, I just play an mp3 or wav file on my PC. Why make things complicated?

Can this M50 file be loaded into an M3 then? What does this give an M3 that it hasn't already got then?

Also, be sure that the module is tightly secured. +1 on that. I have the M3-61 and suddenly got a nasty vibration exactly as you described. Turned out to be the thumb screw that holds the bracket to the module at the back when the module is in the raised position that I hadn't tightened up enough.

Hi Lone Star, I guess from the few posts that you've made so far, you may be a new user of the M3. If that's the case, you may also be making the same mistake as I did when I firt tried to connect the M3 to my PC. When you install the Korg USB driver tools from the CD provided, you aren't installing ...
