Yeah the guts are the same the triton effects were better. But there were certain aspects to the Z1 that stood out more then on the exb-moss. I must admit I'm a Z1/MOSS junkie

Yeah I mean I understand most of the models are technical in the EXi's AL-1,MOD-7,etc. Maybe it was the crude but rawness of it. To me the Z1 has a sonic character that differs it from EXB-MOSS or Oasys/Kronos probably the hardware I don't know.

You can get the monochrome screen off ebay if you search for it right. As in the screen assembly is made by Kyocera as well as the M3's. M50's screen part number: kg057qv1cf- etc. If you search it you will find similar models that for sure will hook-up. Another thought to consider is the M3's screen ...

If your touch screen works and the light comes and goes on it might be the inverter board that the screen connects to part number # KLM-2479 it's a good possibility that is the problem.
