Greatest release? PS-3300. What I'd give to own one of those beasts!

This would be an amazing purchase if it had the ability to load and save to and from my hardware Triton. If only it had the ability to load and save PCG files. Korg missed a trick there, what a shame.

Looking for Z1 sounds/banks...

I can't seem to find banks for this beast anywhere. Does any Z1 user out there happen to have any Z1 banks to share? I also have a Triton (without MOSS board), and found loads of MOSS downloads for it, Is it possible to convert Triton PCG MOSS files into Z1 format? I see a lot of files converted the ...

MS10/20 patch cables availability

I see the MS20 kit comes bundles with original style 6.35mm (1/4") patch cables. I'd like to buy a set of the cables for my original MS10 and MS20. All I can find is the 3.5mm ones, or 3rd party plain cables, not the yellow black ones. Anyone have any ideas where to buy them (preferably in the UK)?

SQ-1 as a USB MIDI - CV converter

Anyone have any idea how to use this as a USB MIDI - CV converter? 2 problems exist: 1) I can't play CV devices attached to the SQ-1 from either my controller keyboard, or a DAW sequence. Nothing is output. It only outputs notes when the SQ-1 sequencer plays, not from the USB MIDI. I have tried ...

Anyhow, LektroiD if you find anything out regarding your PSU's fried component, lemme know; I'd like to know if you were able to repair this. I'm not really sure what you meant by "(I could possibly solder in a through-hole one in its place)", so if you'd care to elaborate on that I'd appreciate ...

I posted this elsewhere, but didn't seem to get anywhere. However, this looks like a more appropriate thread. I've just opened my MicroKorg to find this: http://solarisstudios.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Popped.jpg I presume this is a 100µF / 10V electroylitic or tantalum capacitor (since it's polarised) ...

Thanks for the help... So what's the point of this support forum then, if it's not support? Besides, I've seen people discussing electronics & repairs here on many occasions, so why shouldn't I be allowed to discuss it? Is my post-count not high enough for your standards? Why take it to an ...

Ok, I've filled the unit with batteries. I put in a 100µF electroylitic (through hole) and shorted the fuse, but still dead.

Ideas anyone?

Oooooft!!! (Broken MicroKorg)

I've just opened my MicroKorg to find this: http://solarisstudios.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Popped.jpg I presume this is a 100µF / 10V electroylitic capacitor? It would make sense only being 10V, since the PSU is chucking out 14.4V rather than 9V. I need to stabilise the PSU and replace the broken ...

I have a heap of Korg gear here

Hi, I've been making music since the '80s, professionally since 1992 under many guises and pseudonyms. I have loads of old Korg gear, as well as many other synthesizers, including home built machines, including an analogue modular. One of the main things I'm looking out for is a firmware list for ...
