ableton doesn't like being told to do by other machines, so yeah best to have it as the master. set each piece of gear to a different midi channel and you will have no worries controlling all of them - just set each knob on the BCR to whichever channel + CC number you want it to control.. Or you ...

It's not 'wrong' you just don't like it :P I doubt there will be more firmware updates for the kp3, they've probably started work on kp4 in their super secret labs.. I'm hoping they expand on the 1-8 buttons in numerous ways - for starters, up it to 16 buttons.. - effect sequencing for example, as ...

Just FYI, the MS2000 sequencer is not a x0x sequencer like on the electribes.. it's modeled after the analogue sequencer the SQ-10. For notes you dial in the value per step instead of pressing a note value and there are no rests or glides. Think of it more as a programable modulator or a pitch ...

you could just cut half the foam from each side.. really the most delicate parts of synths are the knobs/buttons/LCDs.. anyway i would not want to be banging the whole body of a synth even in a foam bag! a little knock on the side of the synth is not going to be terrible, but a hard kick would be ...

well before we get into sd only cards...the type of card we are looking for for running home brewed games and music software is something called a R4. Actually its just called a 'flash cartridge' or something along those lines. The R4 is a particular company's product. there are loads of others out ...

you dont need midi sync just record the parts one by one and dont change the tempo on the emx.

then open up a multitrack audio editor/daw with multiple audio tracks, drop each part on an audio track and line them up.

couple Q's about MS2000 sequencing

Just wondering,

can the 16 step sequences be chained, ie so that one of them becomes a 32 step sequence?

also can the 2 synth parts be sequenced separately?

Oops! Sorry, I read it wrong. I had the same bootup error occur on my ES-1 and it turned out to be a faulty SD card. I think you mean SM card! No, I'm pretty sure I mean SD, as in, Secure Digital memory card. You sure about that? You must have a different ES-1 to the one I have here right in front ...
