I have the 88 key pa5x and I really like it except the aftertouch requires more effort than I would like. It was a bit scary when I unboxed it as a bunch of keys weren't sitting at the right height but it sorted itself out. To correct this thread. There are delays with the availability of this ...

jonstatt, I had the same problem with the missing information as you, until I realized that there is one new performance for each of the new voices and has the same name as the voice. ;-) Bill G Haha..okay if its that simple! I thought I might be not seeing some of them. But still Korg should fix ...

Message for Paolo at Korg

There are new performances in 1.63 but they are missing from the documentation! The documentation suggests there are no new performances at all which is not correct. Could you get the documentation corrected please? Many thanks :)

So what would people like to see in that connectivity? One expectation may be a faster and slicker way of controlling sound, style and performance choices from a nice big iPad screen. Another expectation may be to have much more control over editing. Editing may include things like step by step ...

So what do you think it does or does not do then? You are saying it will fall short of our expectations, but you haven't said what you believe it does either :)

Well it is only from .62 to .63...if it had lots of changes it would have been .7

The thing we are all waiting for is the iPad/Android integration...and that may be some time yet before we see the apps.

This is a great indication of product quality....and of course your musician quality as you have so many gigs! Thanks for sharing this news though. Reading the forums over the years, I believe the most common failures are 1) Batteries 2) Joystick I haven't seen any joystick failure reports recently ...

Re: New 1.63 update announced

Wow, that would be nice. Finally a legitimate use for my ipad. Well we still have no idea what the iPad will actually provide with the PA3X. Will it be linked by putting the PA3X on the WiFi network, or will it be tethered directly via USB? Will it just be a second display for lyrics or to choose ...

For iPad/Android integration to work, you would need the keyboards to be connected to your network wouldn't you? This would mean adding driver support for WiFi dongles to the USB port. Roland added support like this through the use of WiFi USB dongles with some of their equipment.

Re: memory in pa3x

Hello All I'm new to this forum and being mainly a singer/songwriter-drummer I'd like to purchase a pa3x for inspirational and creative purposes rather than playing live gigs. Certainly I'll use my own drum grooves in new created user styles and while singing and playing I'll want to record my ...

jonstatt Do as Pete said and remember The last automatic (not manual) screen position is memorized when you turn off your Pa3X, and at next boot , screen always raises at that saved specific position. Screen release button function can never be memorized ! ! Thanks. I do understand the instructions ...

Two PA3X 76 key - one automatically raises screen, not other

I know this is a very tiny detail, but I am puzzled. A friend and I both bought PA3X 76 key units at the same time. Mine has a serial ending 5xxx and his 6xxx Both work perfectly except for one difference. On his one, when he switches on the PA3X, if the screen is folded down flat, it rises up on ...
