I asked michu how the repair happened. This is what they said: I ordered part from korg (Parts is Parts) long time ago. It was special order Part No 500320012346. Korg FLASH (NOR) S29JL032H70TFI020D(X5260) I replaced flash chip myself on Radias CPU board. It required some practice in micro soldering ...

Can I load tracks onto an SD card and play them from the kp3? Also can those samples be looped? I'm looking for videos but not finding much Yes. Here's the Kaossilator Pro, but it works the same on the KP3+ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAXAJiYLoZg&feature=youtu.be&t=189 Remember that once the ...

Thanks Tamme!!! I have the Microsampler editor on two older computers so that I hope I can use it for years and years to come. But when those computers fail (and they will), I will use this trick from the Dutch magazine iCreate. Thanks! Korg has the resources to update the editor but I understand ...

Thanks! Using Edisyn 12 on OSX 10.10.5, I set up the microSampler as instructed but can control only a few things in the Global area: * Current Pattern * Push Record Button * Push Sampling Button * Input (Audio In or Resample) Nothing else responds to Edisyn. Can't believe all the work you're ...

Remember that Circuit is a polyphonic sequencer, so you can trigger 6 microSampler loops simultaneously. Get creative with microSampler's Sample Start parameter, making it start on a different beat other than 1. Lots of tricks to explore in the microSampler. It's a fun, secret weapon for people who ...

I use the Circuit to sequence microSampler's Sampler section while I play the Keyboard section live. It allows for spontaneous remixing of patterns. I never had a problem turning the microSampler's dial to choose one of 16 patterns, but being limited to 16 patterns that I could only mute/unmute loop ...

I agree with you, my friend! The microSampler is excellent. I use it every day. However, Korg has never updated the microSampler since it was released in 2009. They have not supported it since 2011. They will never update it again. Korg does not own this forum and probably never visits it. These ...

This is intentional on Korg's part and is part of the ingenuity that is the microSampler! The microSampler automatically transposes each sample down a half-step if the key to the left is empty. In this way, you can sample a piano on the uppermost B key and your microSampler instantly becomes a 36 ...

Re: 14 stereo notes polyphony or not?
Please someone confirm if 14 notes poly stands for stereo samples as well because this is essential for me to know before I get one for myself. Thanks! Yes the microSampler plays 14 notes of stereo polyphony BUT you start losing polyphony if any of those samples is time-stretched. For each time ...
