At last! Great news...

Is there a way to rename the midi driver in Windows to "Wavestate" rather than Generic USB Midi Device, or are we stuck with it? What happens if you plug in a second Wavestate? Do we get Generic USB Midi Device 2?

Just so I'm clear, Is it just the Librarian and firmware updates that are affected by this, or is it Midi over USB? (New owner - Black Friday Purchase!)

Thanks for posting this in so much detail - like you, the editor is working for me as stand-alone and I haven't tried all the combination of settings in Cubase yet - thanks for being so thorough.

How are you running the plug-in in Cubase 5 midinut? I tried it earlier today twice, and both times got a nasty crash. The editor is running fine for me in stand-alone, so I know my connections are OK. Do you use "add instrument track" by right clicking on the left of the arrange page, or by ...
