For controlling VST’s , Kronos is handicapped for me since it doesn’t have proper octave buttons. FYI.

I loved the part where he shows the unique integration with the Prophet X and the granular synthesis in Omni 2.5. Very cool.

I thought that one of the newer OS's a couple years ago added some new functions to the piano which then had updates to the programs. Maybe I am mistaken.

Updating for the first time in 3 years; question about progs

I am currently on 3.0.3 and am ready to update. I seem to recall when K2 came out there were some updates to some of the programs and to Kevin Buschs' Rhodes programs. Can someone remind me of what I need to do to besides updating the OS? I have a K1.

If space is not an issue I would get the 73 (I presume it is not weighted). More notes at your fingertips and less need of using the octave button.

Nowtime, you know what I'm talking about! Changing drum loops in rhythm is very important, as is muting parts at will. If it's possible what's the best way to coordinate four to five parts(keys, bass, drums, lead, 2nd lead) while I'm singing? I want to perform my songs solo, but I want to fill out ...

with as many moving parts/layers as you can coordinate here is where you need to be very specific. Give us an example of what you are envisioning in detail of what you would like to do. You want to change drum loops in the moment? Extend the chorus if you want? Or is it more about changing the ...

Any users can enlighten me on how to easily set the tier heights evenly? Having a difficult time! Do you just set yours "close enough for rock n roll?"

Good news! An inexpensive part will transform the angled arm into a straight arm. Bad news, it takes 8-12 weeks to obtain said part. Here is the response I got: "I am sorry for the confusion regarding the Spider Pro stand. It sounds as though this user you are referring to has the laptop holder ...

I sent an email to K&M. Note: strangely, the laptop and Virus Polar stay put very well on the wooden shelf even at 15 degrees. The lip at the end of the 2nd tier arms sticks up just enough to catch them and the rubber feet on both items are quite sticky. So it works. But not good enough for such ...

@ psionic311 - yes, I was thinking of some sort of angled board. Maybe have one planed at the 15 degree angle that is listed on the instruction diagram. @ mikelees - I will have to see if the Kronos feels good at such an angle. @ you guys who purchased straight arms - this thing is so expensive they ...

I love this!
But "set them so they're flat" ..... I don't see how..

Spider Pro. Ideas on how to make 2nd tier parallel?

Excitedly setup my new beautiful stand and was quickly disappointed after realizing I can't seem to use the 2nd tier for my intended purposes: with a shelf to hold a laptop and a 49 key Virus Polar over my Kronos on the 1st tier. The angel is too steep and not adjustable. Time to pack it up and back ...
