I've posted the Logic environment for this over on the LogicProHelp forum, if anyone wants to see how the SysEx faders are set up, what's going on under the hood etc

microKontrol + SysEx = running lights

1st attempt sending SysEx messages to my microKontrol = running lights on pads and LCDs...
next step, build some kind of monome type functions for the pads... 1x16, 0r 2x8

the microKONTROL Editor Librarian 2.0.0 software was left in it's PowerPC form. Not fixed for Intel. That's why it won't work. Useless.

Is it being powered with an adapter, or by usb? Try reinstalling the driver p'haps? If that doesn't do the trick, maybe a faulty cable...?

editor librarian app is returning 'midi timeout' messages since i upgraded to snow leopard. worked fine under 10.5. (intel macbook 2.4 and microkontrol)

can anybody tell me how to control the softsynths in logic8? i'd recommend you print the microkontrol section of the Logic Pro 8 Control Surfaces Support pdf (i don't have a link, but it's probably on apple's site somewhere... or right click on the logic icon in your apps folder, >show package ...
