I'm sorry, but there's no way to stop that "breaking sound" thing. It's common in all the keyboards outta here (I think that the Roland Fantom G only has that "option"; actually the Oberheim MC3000 owns it too, but it's a master keyboard). Not a bad idea. The bigger, the better. I have a TR, and all the combi's, the programs, the global settings, are less than a 1 MB (600 KB, if I recall correctly). Maybe your LE settings are further from 600 KB, so... It's up to you, but I think it's more useful the 128 MB Smart Media, so you can ...

Sorry, but there's nothing to do with it. The only way to use your combi's is to overwrite the factory ones, and then save them in a SD card. But you can save ALL the factory programs and combinations before you overwrite them, in order to reset your LE when you want.
