I've got a beats too and that's what I was hoping. Since I can set bpm with beats (or something else sent via midi to the beats) then I can use the sq-1 to send midi and cv at the same time while in sync with everything else. This will actually be very useful.

I noticed you seem something of an the midi side of this thing(to op), so I was wondering if you could answer something for me? I read somewhere else that midi in being used (USB sync) will nullify any midi commands as a controller, is this true? Also, if I use sync in from a volca, will the sq-1 ...

Can you explain the sample time to me? If I understand correctly, the card can hold more than 270secs., no? But then what does the 270sec.refer to? I'm sorry I keep asking this question everywhere but it just seems that Korg had samples of a second or close to it and 500 of them loaded. Even if the ...

I can't believe that 1. They don't have sample folders and 2. That we can't delete 500 factory samples.
On the microsampler, there is one bank like that but it's only one of nine banks so no biggie.
And one sample at a time, wtf?

I totally agree with you. The e2s will be more intuitive. Bc the microsampler is really a pita when it comes to effects and parameters. It's not that bad but not really fun and simple like the e2s looks.

Yeah, I thought about getting one off the bat but the e2 has already about ¥7000 from when it was first released. I'm guessing in about two months they will only be about ¥40,000 here.

hijack tempo question; how can we see individual sample tempo? it seems we are only able to view the bank bpm, am I missing something?
