Yaaaaaaaawn!
Wake me when someone actually does a demonstration; demonstrate the sampling process, demonstrate editing a sample, demonstrate slicing a sample, demonstrate how to save a sample, demonstrate how to use this ES2 as a sampler!

I am very sorry I found this video on YouTube and posted it here for others who might find it of some interest. I promise to not post anything more until I find something that meets your exact list of demonstration requests..SMK wrote:Yaaaaaaaawn!

Oh man, dude you're taking this way to personal. My comment / criticism was about how annoying it is that the only youtube videos people are making are of themselves demonstration how well they can turn a selection knob and hit play. This was not about what you were selecting. I think you found the best that you could.Buska wrote:I am very sorry I found this video on YouTube and posted it here for others who might find it of some interest. May favorite video right now was made by Syuhei Yamada. He actually did something interesting with his demo video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=748ni4K ... e=youtu.be
At the moment Syuhei is working on sampling demo video which those of us on the FB group can't wait to see.
It would be nice if people would do an actual REVIEW. I good sampler review is not about the sounds in the box, but how to sample the sounds you want.

Yeah, it's me. Not too active these days with two very active young children and a FULL time job. Plus is I can buy gear when I want too. Just don't have time to use it. Lol.
What's up Tim? You love Texas? I've thought about moving there someday. Lot of jobs for me there. It would have to be Houston cuz I'm very liberal.
Sorry off topic BuskA

@ jbl, I love SP forums! You guys actually loved Korg's microSampler more than the Korg Fans here
It was actually that forum that made me appreciate the microSampler I had.
I can't wait to see how the Roland fans over there react to the Electribe Sampler 2.

last thread jacking post from me i promise!
jbl i was semi active on the spforums a few years ago.. didnt post much music on there but was active in the 404, other gear, and freedom of speech forums..
I left texas once to live in ohio for a year but came back.. i would leave again but it would have to be for something amazing. From houston and loved it.. its highly suggested.. austin is probably the city youre thinking of.. its the "cool" city of texas.. i am currently in san antonio right now.
I still plan on getting the esx2 and will probably get one at the drop.. even though i keep telling myself to wait a week or two.. I want to see some functionality and some creation/modeling.. not just pressing play and the things that have come out recently.. I havent dug around in a while.. am i missing a simple beat making video out there somewhere?

So I found this just now:

the seems to be a fancier volca sample for all intents and purposes. From everything I've seen the microsampler still excels at actual sampling. However, for making multi layered music using snippets and waveforms, the e2s looks great. I got a rytm last year and tbh the e2s doesn't bring anything new to the table so I very seriously think i'll be taking a pass. The memory limit kind of kills for it, i wanted massive storage space for loops galore. oh well...
still this does seem very cool and if I didn't already have a rytm, I would buy this for sure.
And it's great to see the sp-forums peeps are alive and well. I still check in once in a blue moon. I've been trying to off some records there forever but bc of shipping overseas, nobody seems interested.
