Yes... what you just described is the first operating system, but only on the 'loop' effects.... Most every other effect also has what you described, a plus sign where your finger touches.

I got it ticking now........ Now a just got to figure out a way to trigger both the kp3 samples AND the MK arpeggiation at the same time. =/

Hello all. I've been reading my manuals but still no luck..... I'm trying to send a clock signal from my KP3 to my MicroKorg so that the Arp, and LFO will stay in sync when I change songs on the Kaoss Pad, without having to do it manually on the MK....... I really need help.... I just got my first ...

What's happening that's causing the keys to break? I've dropped the microKORG several times and even dented that top plate. Not a single problem yet. Just curious. I wish I knew exactly myself....... I'll just be playing (usually repetitive recordings sessions) and they will just fall off beneath ...

How long a key lasted so far? Was it broken at the base too? www.korgparts.com They have it for $40 + shipping. Just send e-mail. It was broken at the base... and the glue is still holding it today.... but now, unfortunately, ANOTHER key broke... this is frustrating.... I can't believe korg would ...

dial the tempo down to 75 to get the longest possible rec length

yes just have the hold on while you write the effect the the 8 buttons for selectic quick FX

an easy way of checking is to goto any Loop effect and touch the screen.... if the LEDs light up everything to the Left of your finger it is OS 2.0, but if the LEDs only show the point of contact, you have the first OS

get something called a Light Snake... it is a instument cable with a USB for one end.... i run that from my mixer to my computer.... its not stereo but it is a pure signal..... i hate the static that results from direct connection using 1/8 jacks
