Hey. I have a Korg M-50 88 and haven't tried a Krome yet. How does the new Krome acoustic piano compare to the M-50 and the electric pianos?
Thanks kart

Not sure. I'll look into it. The next question is, can I control GarageBand iOS on my new iPad 3 or use the iPad with the external M-50 controls or nanokontrol?kikedeolivos wrote:Is there a way to assign a button on the Nanokontrol to Leslie STOP?

Noisy Keys On M50 88
Hi. I am getting several noisy keys on my M50 88, especially in the upper register. It's almost like the felt under each keys has worn out or something. Has anyone else here that has an M50 88 had similar issues? Would Korg repair the problem keys if the board is still covered under warranty? Thanks ...

Any Third Party Books Out There For The M50?
Are there any M50 owners/users out there that know of any third party books as an independent source to the manuals written to understand tricks, tips, full color pages, etc? I am into digital photography, a full time Canon DSLR user and there are many third party books that cover a variety of ...

NanoKontrol
I have the original ist gen Nanokontrol with the 9 sliders but slider one only controls volume. Even though there are 9 drawbars, I can't seem to program the nine sliders to control the nine drawbars in the VB3 program. Slider #2 control the first left drawbar. But I did find this controller and ...

Has Anyone With An M50 Found An Attachable Music Stand?
Hey. I have the M50 88 and a Casio Privia Px-200 that has a slot where you can attach the nice large music stand that comes with it. Many prosumer keyboards come with a music stand and an easy way to fit it in. However in pro line keyboards, like the M50, there is no slot or any way to attach a ...

M50 Pianos
I have the M50 88 and for a workstation which offers so many other features, I think the pianos are very fine. I have played the board live and recorded with it and people have asked what kind of acoustic grand did I record on. Well, I seemed to fool them. Also I think having the M50 88 with the ...

NanoKontrol and VB3
I bought the nanoKontrol just for VB3. I'm not sure about the Mac version but on the PC, I just right clicked on the drawbar and told it to learn the CC# then I moved the slider up and down. Done. Repeat. Good thing you didn't wait for the Nano2 series. They dropped the 9th slider from NanoKontrol ...

Anyone Got Any Great ELP Sounds For The M50?
Hey. I am a big fan of Emerson, Lake, & Palmer and saw them live several times when the band was just getting famous in the 70's. Does anyone have some recommendations for some good portamento and synth lead Programs or Combis similar to the type of solo sounds Emerson played on "Lucky Man", "From ...

Hey players. I need a tutorial or link to some help on how to set up my Korg NanoKontrol as a drawbar and Leslie on/off switch USB controller used with with the VB3 software running on my MacBook as a GarageBand plug-in. It works fine with the mouse pad on the laptop, but not real practical. I have ...

Re: M50 - which one, speakers and other stuff!
I play a grand piano in church as part of the worship team and being originally a classical pianist, think I'd like to get back to this. In that case, I'd recommend the Yamaha S90XS. Better piano sounds and keybed: http://www.dv247.com/assets/products/gallery/65657_g3.jpg And a pair of these active ...

Re: Finally, some great pianos for the M50!
Hi Kim. I downloaded your sample pianos and especially like the Lush Grand. However, when I loaded the sample pack I lost all of the original Combi and Program banks except the pianos. How is the best way to load them so everything isn't erased or the original factory settings are overwritten ...

What Are Your Favorite Electric Piano Programs?
I am curious what M50 users think are their favorite, most authentic electric piano programs are, plus the additional ones in the Vintage Key series. I had a Stage 73 Rhodes in the mid 70's and had it modified a bit to improve the muddy sound out of the box. What effects do you like on the electric ...
