You have to assign notes to the pads, and that's all. I've used to do more, here is my report.

It's impossible to plug USB controller to the Microsampler. I use padKontrol for pad drumming and effects.

That's the only major flaw of MS driven me to find out the solution. My workaround is about controlling the MS externally.

Yes, it can send MIDI-clock, set manually or by the tap tempo button, and receive clock as well.

Wow! I think I should do that, and the same trick involving tap tempo button!, though my setup is fully MIDI-powered at very moment. It would be highly versatile solution for guitar looping.

In a word - nope. And you've already seen my workaround.

TuhwistedFiahstatah: You're limiting yourself to mono looping with Jamman Solo and RC-20. Take a look on stereo loopers: RC-50, Jamman Stereo/Delay, 2880 (I'm not sure, whether JM4 supports stereo recording or not).
