when I press on the lights doing the calibration, it doesn't move to another location on the screen.

all the lights function fine when powering up and changing modes, but when u press the screen, only the top 2 rows of lights appear, no matter where your finger is on the screen. yeah, a hundred bucks more for some more fx??? I thought it was a bit much.. add some more features for the same money and it would be a hit. Maybe I'm missing something.

this won't help you but mine is set up on the second tier of a 2 tier keyboard stand. I also use a small adjustable height table ~18x30 that folds up for a mixer and laptop that may work for you.

I was gonna try this but forgot so I thought I'd ask. I'd like to set the fx for each different key sample so I can use the mic as a distorted fx for one sample and a pitched fx for the next sample etc so I'd have a dozen different vocal fx saved in the bank.

I use it in our band... I have a main keyboard and the upper layer is the microSampler loaded with sounds that are specific to the songs we play. I also use the mic for distortion and other fx.

I'm thinking of buying a D888 and was wondering if it is easy to import/export the tracks into a DAW like Reaper or Sonar? If I record 8 tracks at my gig, it will import 8 separate mono tracks right? Any other issues with using the tracks in my daw?

yeah, i already tried setting it to ch 10. i didn't think the clock would help in this case but the manual said to set it.

Trying to use my ALesis DM5 drums (controller) to trigger sounds in my microSampler. In the DM5, I set the drums up to start output at C3...hook up the midi out to the MS midi in... In the MS, I set the midi clock to auto... not working. any other ideas for getting the drum beats to trigger the MS ...

run them thru a mixer into the line in

1. does the mic work elsewhere (it is a dynamic mic)? 2. did u set the line select to mic ? 3. start by having the mic turned down, then increase the sensitivity as you test it. You may be getting feedback so keep the mic away from the speakers as you test it. 4. Move away from the helicopter pad.
