Just remember if you buy the module the only way you can obtain a keybed for it is through 2nd hand. Korg don't sell the keybed as a separate item to my knowledge.

Yep that's done the trick, it's a bit odd though, you would think that once you have installed the initial executable setup it's good to go, had some problems with USB port too. Thanks, now if I could just get the nanPAD to work too.....

M3 Editor 2.2.1 not seeing my M3

I have followed the instruction with installing USB/MIDI driver and Editor and setting in the M3 OS - Enable Exclusive but still the M3 symbol is not totally lighting up in the bottom right hand corner. The USB/MIDI driver does function to control other intstruments in my DAW so it seems OK however ...

So a new version (2.2.1) of the editor is available for download.

I was wondering whether it has fixed anyone's issues whether large or small since using the last version?

Has anyone bought a Korg Nanocontrol and placed it under the sequencer control buttons on the M3 to extend the M3's control options? I've noticed that the Nanopad sits under these buttons quite well and some rotary encoders and additional sliders on the NanoKontrol could be useful if mapping is ...

M3 Editor write limitation/problem with MAC and Logic 8

I have posted this a couple of months ago on the Karma forum but no reply yet, thought I should try here. http://www.karma-lab.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16532 I have been able to get the M3 and editor to talk to each other in Logic 8 and I have followed the wiki Auto load .M3all file recommendation ...

Re: Win 7 64 bit. M3 Editor - How to get the software workin

Yep, I've tried the same type of installation and get the same result to confirm with you. When I bought the M3 I took the chance that Korg would have these types of things covered with them being such a large company. The editor also may have problems with saving combi's and programmes to HDD when ...

Hi Stephen, Thanks for confirming synth behaviour. I will be looking into Karma once I absorb all the fundamentals between Logic and M3. I noticed some helpful guides on outputting Combi's to Logic in your Karam-Lab wiki and that notably copying the Combi to M3's sequencer appears to be the only way ...

Ok, so now I have found that with M3 set to External USB/MIDI the M3 follows Logic's tempo without doing the weird adding of the tempo! I even got the M3 to run at 990bpm.

I'm looking at buying a M3 from a friend in the US and it looks like some of you may have answered the question of power supply. In Australia we also have 230-240V power as standard. Reading through the post it appears that or would I be correct in saying the M3 has a switching power supply like my ...
