MIDI SYNC ISSUE: ES2 changing pattern a bar behind master.

Howdy folks. Have an issue with syncing my ES2 to my BOSS RC-505. When I change the pattern on the BOSS (which is master) the ES2 always changes pattern a whole bar after. I do want the change to happen, just at the same time. If I stop them running and change it, the ES2 does it instantaneously ...

microKORG XL+ Mac Sound Editor crashing after 10 secs

Howdy peeps

Just got myself an XL+, but the editor crashes every time about 10 seconds after loading. I also tried the standard XL one and same deal. On osx 10.9.5.

Anyone else had any problems? Does it even if I don't have the XL+ connected via usb...

Cheers

All depends on what software you're using. If you explain a bit more about your current setup, maybe you'll have more luck getting an answer.

I realised that it only shifts the octave of the XY pad, not the actual pads themselves. Doesn't explicitly explain that in the manual. So pads are set at the octave they're on, only the XY pad can change.

Could it be the USB port switching off to save power? Have you tried it with another computer? You can switch that option off (here's a guide for XP, will be similar for Win 7) - http://www.himsa.com/Support/NOAHlinkKnowledgebase/LearningCenter/turnoffaUSBportspowersaveoption/tabid/492/language/en ...

Changing Octaves on the Nanopad2

Hi all Is there some different technique required to switch Octave-/+ other than what's described in the manual? When I hold the Key/Range button down, I can adjust the Range-/+ ok, and I see the 1-4 LED's changing with my selection, but the octave doesn't change at all with this technique. Am I ...

I haven't actually tried it with any other midi devices. I just play my synth live and record the audio, so don't midi it up. But have you tried the JJ OS on your mpc? Has waaaaaay more options than the standard one. Really makes the mpc into a whole new machine. If you make a blank drum program ...

Looping live playing, on the fly, with a Kaoss + mpc1000

Easy All Just wanted to add how I have my KP3 set up for live looping with an mpc1000 and a footswitch. I usually have some drums rolling from the mpc, then make live loops over that with a bass and a synth. So: I set my Kaoss sample pads to trigger with the following midi input: A = C2 / B = E3 / C ...
