Sounds like the TAC switches have worn. Best contact Korg, they're dirt cheap but you need a soldering iron to change them. Easy enough though.

If you turn off the expression controller via the EXP/CTL button and sift through the menu until the exp/off is shown then press save. Mine has done what yours has done before now, it's a simple fix. Have you tried connecting the AX3000G up to your computer via the software? It's a bit clearer there ...

You have the expression controller set to gain instead of volume.

You could buy a new jack from Korg and solder it yourself, if it's anything like the AX3000G it should be pretty straight forward.

Ahhh I see, fair comment, maybe they are going to re-vamp the range.

Why would you not want to buy one if it's being discontinued? You might get it cheap! I suspect Korg are probably going to discontinue most of their guitar products. I think keyboards are probably where they make most of their revenue.

Are you trying to model a Gibson amp with the AX3000G? Am I right?

If it is the Tac switch, you'll need a soldering iron and some patience, it can be a bit fiddly if you don't use a soldering iron all that often.

You should be able to get them from any electronic specialists store or try Korg themselves.
