Is your volume pedal all the way down?
If so, is the dial on the volume pedal all the way down?
You can adjust the volume of the bottom limit of the pedal.

When I have mine set to the lowest setting, and the pedal is down,
and the volume knob is down, I have no sound coming through.

When I push the pedal all the way down, I go silent.

There is an adjustment on the pedal itself to set where the lowest point is.
You can set it to "zero" or higher.

Check there.

I have the SV1 and very much enjoy playing it and listening to it. But...I would love to be able to have more versatility in the split keyboard arena too. I want to choose what instruments to use in the split and choose where to split as well. I think they should be able to make this change in the ...

Be sure to name your newly created soundpack too - I have created several different ones, which makes it easy to go from one show to the next - usb in, load it up, and I'm off and running.
