Great! Please update on progress. I was thinking using a tiny plastic container filled with thin foam slices to house the new external SD card. And even so, I'd make sure I have an extra SD cable and a drum key at every gig. The slot on the side of the panel seems like a natural. It's still scary to ...

Operating Wavedrum (not mini) with batteries?
Did anyone explore the idea of running a Wavedrum from some kind of battery pack?

Guys, good ideas - but what I was whining about is this. The Wavedrum is a performance instrument, it's an essential part of what's great about it, and it's a huge success because of the performance potential. Unfortunately the loop gallery was not intended for performance. It fooled me because the ...

Loop change, tempo change on the fly
I like oriental drumming so I got the Wavedrum Oriental model. I got a belly dancing troupe interested in experimenting, but ran into an unexpected difficulty. The thing is, with belly dancing (and most oriental tunes) you have changes of tempo on the fly. As far as I can tell this can't be done on ...

Syncing saved loop & pattern program when Pro is MIDI sl
A Boss RC 50's clock is driving my K Pro - it works. I can start the RC 50, work on the Pro, use a pattern program (say 166), create a loop and save it to card. But once I stop and restart the RC 50, something breaks - now program 166 will play the pattern in sync, the loops too, but now the loops ...

Re: the dark red/white combination, I wonder if the designer was thinking of far-east oriental rather than middle-east oriental. Just imagine how striking it would be if this drum had a bluish metal darbuka tone, or some earth tone. Maybe with some inlaid shell ornaments :) Wait, I might be giving ...
