I have read somewhere that you could build a combi of your favorite program sounds, which can be recalled almost instantaneously via touch screen.

Hi All,
I am looking for the shortcuts you love to use. For example I just discovered that in sequencer mode pressing "Enter" followed by the "Locate", sets the now time. So instead of going to 001.01.000 it will now go to what you set it to.

Thanks to all for responding, I think I am missing something with regards to programs and combis. I only have 3 banks of combis and some combis don't even sound. So I need to reload [or reset] so I have all the banks of combis and programs. How to do that. I have already gone to global-->Basic ...

ok I will give you all a shout out once I upgrade the Ram. BTW what is KM3 and what it does?

Hi all,
I am looking for the best way to setup M3-61 [stock, no upgrades yet] so I could access most programs and combis. My main goal is to use it as a sequencer. It seems like when the usb is connected I only have a few programs and combi available. Thanks!

So there is no hardware change, just new samples in M3 Expanded. So in all actuality I could buy an M3 and get the new samples from korg's website. Is it true? Thanks again!

Hi David, I think Sonar 3.1 Producer's edition is pretty good. It gives to the ability to record at more than 16 bits. Vsampler is a good addition for sampling and read various sampling formats. Lexican reverb is pretty good, although I didn't like their presets as much but they can be customized ...

Very nice information tommo. I do something similar when I am away form my home (or keyboard) as well. I have a small mono digital recorder (Radio Shack) that I keep with me all the time cause you don't know when the inspiration going to hit you. I record what I think is good as work on it later ...
