PCG Tools and Triton Studio without expansion cards

Hi there! Hope someone can help me. I have a Korg Triton Studio without any expansion cards. On my Triton, I can save INT Programs and Combi's into EXB and tweak them there so I don't mess with the factory sounds. Can I do this in PCG Tools? For some reason, I can't see any of the EXB in PCG Tools ...

Korg M1 dump and restore

Hello, I hope someone can help me. I'm going to have my M1 serviced and before doing so I'm going to Dump all data from the M1 to my computer via MIDI. I regularly perform the Dump but I haven't had to restore in over 10 years when I changed the button battery and have forgotten how that's done. Can ...

HI Goom, I know this is a really old thread and you probably upgraded your gear since. I have a Triton Studio (which is basically the Extreme without the expansion boards). I still use it and was also researching how to create that organ sound. Where you ever able to recreate it or pretty close to ...

I had this issue with my Triton Studio. The touchscreen has gone bad. Needed to have it replaced. Had to wait about 4 weeks for the part to be shipped from Japan as noboty in the USA had it in stock. From what the tech told me, the touch screen is a layered screen. Only one of the layers are ...

HI 310electro, I recently had my touchscreen replaced in my Triton Studio. Since having it replaced, haven't had the blank screen issue. My hard drive wasn't/isn't the problem as I thought it was. My hard drive still functioning fine. Also had the entire board checked out. There's another thread in ...

I know it's been a while since this thread received any activity. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents worth. I still use my Triton Studio 88 on a regular basis. A real workhorse and reliable even with frequently transporting it to gigs. Recently had my touch screen replaced as it became unresponsive ...

I know my reply is awfully late. I had this happen to me several years ago. All it needed was a good internal cleaning. Not something you want to attempt to do yourself as dis-assembling the keyboard is difficult and complex. Leave it to an authorized service tech.

Parts for Triton Studio

Hello, I'm looking for a couple knobs that are missing for my Triton. The usual sources for parts are out of stock (not surprising as this keyboard is nearly 20 years old). Can find some used ones on Ebay etc but asking prices are out of the question. Has anyone been able to find knobs from other ...

Thanks! I overlooked the Appendix. Dummy me!

It's done a little different on the Triton. Didn't even think to look there.

How to perform a factory reset

Hello, I hope someone can help me out. I need to update the OS in a Krome and reload all the factory data/sounds. Personally, I have a Triton Studio and very familiar with the procedure on it however I'm at a bit of a loss as to how that is performed on a Krome. On the Korg website I can download ...

Hi everyone, I know this is an old thread and my question has to do with the Triton Studio 88 but I came across this thread when searching for information on how to open up the Triton Studio 88. Hi everyone, Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. For some reason I'm not being notified when new posts are made to this thread. To kts88r.... I know it's been almost a year since you posted. To answer your question, I haven't had time to dive into the Triton. My bootup problem comes and goes. I ...

I'm pretty sure it's the original bottom. When I bought my keyboard, it was used but just barely. The Triton was still in production by Korg. In the pictures I uploaded, you can see how the wood bottom slips under the wide lip along the top. You can also see a very clean cutout for the lever used to ...
